This year on April 27, NVD celebrated 13 senior athletes from seven different sports who are committing to college sports. These athletes have put in effort both in and out of school, and are finally receiving the rewards from all their hard work.
From the track and field team, there are three athletes who will be competing at the collegiate level. Two will be competing at division one level, one will be competing at division two level, and two athletes will be competing at division three level. Below are the committed athletes:
- Erika Gargano → Cornell University
- Aviv Mosayov → The College of New Jersey
- Adrian Cami → Columbia University
- Amadeo Bonde → Hamilton College
- Willie Hildenbrand → St. Thomas Aquinas college
From the cross country team, two seniors are going on to compete at the division three collegiate level:
- Aviv Mosayov → The College of New Jersey
- Claire Ross → Hobart and William Smith Colleges
From the football team, two seniors are going on to compete at the division one level:
- Jack Kim → Brown University
- Reed Kaauderer → Long Island University
From the swim team, there is one senior planning to compete at the division one level:
- Timothy Lee → Columbia University
From the girls lacrosse team, there is one athlete who is going on to compete for the OUA conference at the collegiate level:
- Avery Monaco → University of Toronto
From the girls soccer team, there are two athletes who will be competing at the division three level:
- Lila Cervino → Connecticut College
- Cayla Sul → Wesleyan University
Lastly, from the girls basketball team, there is one athlete who will be competing at the division three level:
- Gabriella Mittelman → Smith College
