Netflix is back with its hit show “Stranger Things.” Season four left off with one of the main characters, Max, in a coma, and the city of Hawkins, split all over with antagonist, Vecna’s four gates.
Elizabeth Miller, a junior at NVD who loves “Stranger Things,” shares her thoughts and feelings about the future of the series and season five.
“No, I think they should’ve ended it a while ago, stretching it out. It feels like when they moved El, the main character, out of Hawkins when they got the Russians involved, it’s a weird concept and I don’t understand where it’s going,” Miller said.
On the other hand, Mickenna Biggins, a junior at NVD that has watched “Stranger Things” has a different look at season five.
“I feel good, I feel like season 5 is about one character. Expecting more things to happen, but same conflicts. I’m excited to see what characters die, although it’s gonna be sad,” Biggins said.

Even though NVD students have different opinions on how season five will go. Due to the violent nature of the show, fans wonder if any of the main characters will die this upcoming season.
“I have a weird feeling Will, one of the main characters, is gonna die this season because everything is built up so much to the point where I feel like it will be Will or Mike because like those are the two main characters and I feel like those would be the most tragic,” freshman at NVD, Alexandra Dickstein said.
Dickstein says that she thinks Will is going to die due to all of the problems built up from the prior seasons. However, Miller has a different way of viewing how the season will end.
“Steve, he’s gonna sacrifice and it’s gonna be the male protector. Protecting the kids,” Miller said.
She added on what could happen with the cast, including the possibility that fan favorite characters may not make it to the end of the final season.
“I think they’re gonna kill off half the cast. It’s going to be the season when everyone dies,” Miller said.
If half the cast is gone by the end of the final season fans will likely have different perspectives and feelings. Biggins shares her final thoughts about the final season of “Stranger Things.”
“I’m looking forward to seeing what will happen to the town and how the creators of the series chose to end the season,” Biggins said.
