Yesterday January 30th, the Norsemen and women came together to celebrate Norsemen Day. All periods were shortened in order to save an hour at the end of the day. After the pep rally, various activities and games were played in order to create competition and camraderie amongst the grades and see who would win more points. The seniors and sophomores wore blue while the juniors and freshman wore white to represent their teams. Games included stacking cookies on one’s forehead, eating oreos without using your hands and keeping four balloons in the air. The competition between both the juniors and the seniors and the freshman and sophomores were close at a 20-20 tie. The tie resulted in a dance battle, knockout round of basketball, and loudest applause in order to have a winner. This year’s Norsemen day ended with the juniors and the freshman taking the wins.
