On May 2, NVD hosted its annual signing day for the student athletes who are continuing to participate at the collegiate level in their respective sports.
NVD had a combined 15 athletes from the class of 2025 committing to college sports, which is, comparatively speaking, a much higher amount since the prior years.
From the track and field team, there are nine athletes who will compete at the collegiate level, seven of whom will compete at the division one level and two who will compete at the division three level. Here is a highlight of the track and field athletes who are committed:
Track:
- Liam Paneque – University of Virginia
- Adam Kaufman – Cornell University
- Ivan Timochko – Central Connecticut College
- Baxter Clark – Marist University
- Noah Chang – Emory University
- Olivia Rothstein – Marist University
- Gabrielle Rothstein – Binghamton University
- Maya Mikay- Lehigh University
- Eliza Glick – Wellesley College
From the football team, NVD has two athletes who will continue on to compete. There is one athlete who is competing at the division one level and one who will compete at the division two level. Here is a highlight of the football athletes who are committed:
Football:
- Marco DeCroce – Fordham University
- Canco/Canefe Dayioglu – Post College
From the NVD Swim team, there is one athlete who is committed to swim at the division three level:
Swimming:
- Triahna Puente – Rowan University
Lastly, from the NVD swim team, there are three athletes who are going to continue to play at the collegiate level. Two of them are going to play at the same school. Here is a highlight of the soccer commits:
